Carpenter Bee Traps
I make these traps by the dozen during the season, for the past 4 or 5 years. I use the sale of the traps to pay for more tools for my shop. My shop is self supportive all it needs is more room. I sell them for $15 ea or 2 for $25. They actually work quite well. I can also send you plans to make your own for $2.50. Email is daleswc@yahoo.com.

Doll House
What do you think of a site that would allow you to order a doll house with your specifications? Keeping it simple, with the basic rooms and floor space so you can finish it with wall paper, carpet, lighting and colors you choose. I did this with my daughter many years ago and it was lots of fun and the finished product is still around today. She can share it with her little girl some day. If this idea appeals to you send me a comment, perhaps we can work something out to your liking. Plus you will have a project you and your spouse can work on together.

My New Planer
I purchased this planer recently from Home Depot and am quite happy with the performance. The best part is the price. I am all about saving money and with this machine I believe that is possible. It is inexpensive to purchase and for a hobbyist like myself it is a perfect fit. I like the dust collector chute for t he shavings. They go right in my Shop Vac. I am still learning to use it properly but so far I don't have any complaints.

Recycled Wood
Iam all about saving money especially with todays economy. I love using recycled wood for my projects. The most avaliable wood is pine. It is the cheepest wood out there and contractors use a lot of it when building houses. If you ask some one building the house most likely they will give you the scrap wood.
I build bird houses, dollhouses, picture frames and other small items. This type of scrap wood is perfect for me. I also collect Oak wood and other varietys of wood in small quanties because this wood is not avaliable like pine. I get most of my oak wood from pallets. I work at a place where they are plentyful. The quality of wood is not always that great but at least it is Oak wood. The best thing about recycled wood is it is almost always FREE.
